1ST SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY IN CAC NORTH AMERICA
AT ORLANDO, FLORIDA

By Francis Iselowo

Christ Apostolic Church (Worldwide) is a Pentecostal church which is known for passionate evangelism, divine healing and ceaseless prophetic prayer among others. It was therefore not a surprise when the CAC North America organized it first Sunday school Rally at Orlando, Florida on Oct. 4th- 6th, 2012.

The Theme of the Rally was - Wanted: Sacrificial, Sincere and Sanctified Vessels The National coordinator, Pastor Dr. Joshua O. Owoeye PhD declared the conference open. In his opening remark, he declared that:
"This is truly the doing of the Lord-for us members of Christ Apostolic Church North America, to see the inauguration and the First North America Conference Sunday School Rally. We have come this far by faith and by the grace of God. We will keep moving ahead in the Lord and doing exploits in God despite what the enemy may bring. As a church and part of the body of Christ, we are victorious and every of our endeavor shall succeed gloriously in Jesus Name. Amen."
The Chairman of the Education Department, CAC North America, Pastor Dr. Gabriel Dada Th.D whose selfless service with the committee members of the Education department made the conference a reality, remarked in his Welcome Address that:
"Firstly, God has His work (program) here with us; Secondly, He is looking for vessels to serve Him; Thirdly, He has standard and qualities for the work; and fourthly’ the examples of Jesus. God has always chosen people. He has always thrown out His gracious invitation for people to respond (II Chro. 6:9; Isa. 6:8).”
The president of the CAC (Worldwide) Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun’s sent in his goodwill address which was read by Pastor J.A. Olawale Secretary, CAC North America. The President declared that:
"God has good, pleasing and perfect plans for His children. He wants us to be transformed people with renewed minds, living to honor and obey Him. Because He wants only what is best for us, and because He gave His Son to make our new lives possible, we should joyfully give ourselves as living sacrifices for His service."
The opening lecture was given by Pastor Dr. Francis Iselowo Th.D who spoke on “Jesus Came, Lived and Died For Mankind.” He emphasized that:
Our lives must be rooted in Jesus Christ whose mission was to make Himself the sacrificial Lamb of God that takes away our sins. If you are a Christian and you are not making any sacrifice for His kingdom sake, check your stand in the Lord. Jesus called us to come to him, live for Him and die for Him if possible.

Notable speakers include Pastor Felix Adunyame a Ghanian whose lecture on The Quantity And Quality Of Jesus Prayer resonated with the audience. Pastor Oyegoke spoke on The Compassionate and Passionate Jesus and Dr. Duke Maduagwu spoke on Christ and Crisis Management. Pastor Arnold Ogunmoyero gave the fourth lecture on Jesus and The Children.

The praise and worship team comprised of Lady Evangelist Bolanle Mustapha, Mama Joy Iselowo, Lady Evangelist Funke Ogunwuyi (Texas) and Sister Adejoke Oyelowo from Atlanta Georgia.

There was time for prayers where burdens were lifted up to mount Calvary.

We want to place on record the services of our CAC members in Orlando Florida for their impeccable hospitality. Deacon and Deaconess Ben Akinola and Engineer Olaleye from Orlando Florida supervised and sacrificed their resources in transporting delegates from the Orlando International Airport to the conference venue at Double Tree Hotel by Hilton, Orlando Florida.
The conference ended with the National Coordinator, Pastor Dr. Joshua O. Owoeye praying and declaring prophetic blessings upon the delegates that attended. Finally, Pastor Dr. Gabriel Dada Th. D declared that:

God really glorified Himself considering the short notice and all the Zones in CAC North America which included 10 delegates from Canada. This portrayed a good sign of Unity for CAC here in North America and Canada under the visionary leadership of our Father in the Lord Pastor Dr. Joshua Owoeye PhD whose unwavering love for the correct teaching of the word of God in our churches motivated our organizing this 1st Sunday School Rally and Orlando, Florida happened to be the first history making city in pioneering the venue of the meeting. Thanks to my committee members and our brethren in Orlando Florida.

Glory Be to God!

Can I believe in Jesus and still not get to stay in Heaven?

Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. - Hebrews 5:13
New revelations and understanding are being made known to  those who truly seek the kingdom of God and it's righteousness, we must seek to find more understanding, more knowledge and more wisdom. The Holy Spirit has been focusing on revealing the role we are to play as those who have been made righteousness in Christ.  The bible says let the righteous do righteous works. What does that mean.?  What does the word righteous mean?
Think about it..
We will discuss that at another time...For now, let us concentrate on this foundational knowledge on the principles concerning heaven first. We all know that to enter heaven we need to believe in Jesus and be baptized by immersion. However, the truth is that Jesus is not the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said " I am the way"....the truth and the life. He is the way to get into the kingdom of heaven. What does this mean.... Just because You have Jesus, it does not guarantee your entering the kingdom of Heaven. What will get you there will be my works.
Jesus said if our righteousness does not surpass those he considered 'hypocrites' even though you believe in Jesus, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:20

Jesus will walk with you if you are on the road that He is on, which is the narrow pathway, however, the heavenly conditions to enter depend on your acts, your achievements in God and your character. The answer to the big question is yes, yes yes. You can miss entering into the kingdom of Heaven even though you are believer.
I know your next question is this..., What good was it in giving your life to Christ? .....The answer is that You get to have the opportunity to walk on the right way to The Kingdom of Heaven. There is no other way to get to enter the Kingdom of Heaven except through Christ.
Let’s assume, we believe we are all in the pathway because we go to church regularly... Are you sure you are truly on the pathway? You need to check your life..Jesus said only a few will find it.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
-  Matthew 7:14

“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. - Luke 13:24
What can hinder you?
Above, you read that entering the Kingdom of heaven depends on  your acts, your achievements in God and your character. To treat each area as a summary does not do justice to the subject matter so we will treat each subject separately. Next lesson will be treating our acts that hinder us from Entering The Kingdom of Heaven..

Hope you were enlightened and looking forward to gaining more knowledge on the things of the spirit.
God bless you.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Matthew 5:6
