It is time to ‘Seek the LORD’…!

My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.- Psalm 27:8

But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. - Deuteronomy 4:29

When a carpenter wants to nail a piece of wood together, he needs to bang the hammer at the exact spot where the head of the nail is. No matter how much power he has, or how much experience he has if he does not ‘hit the nail on the head’ as the saying goes, He will achieve nothing.
This scenario is very good to illustrate what God expects of every child of His who claims to be a Christian. It is possible to serve God in error; there are many testimonies of that and it is also possible to pray amiss. Many have prayed to God have not received an answer because they pray amiss.  The point here is that if we do not know where the nail head is in any situation in our lives where we want or expect a change, we will be hitting the nail or the problem wrongly.
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. - Deuteronomy 4:29
When was the last time we checked with God to know if we are serving him according to what is ordained concerning us? When was the last time we prayed to know the root of any problem before we tackled it in prayer?  Praying every prayer point is not enough to deal with all and every issue.  There is a task that God expects of us and that is that we must seek to know the root of all problems which can only be achieved when we seek his face for answers.
God in His word said that He is seeking those who will seek to know the truth. He is looking for who will understand. Have you ever wondered what He was talking about? Understand what?
God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. - Psalm 53:2
God can see that you cannot see too well into the spiritual realm so he expects you to understand that you need to ask. The way to ask is to seek his face concerning everything; your life, Ministry, home marriage, health etc. Unfortunately many have chased and worked out pathways for themselves that were never ordained for them and have met frustration along the way. We are meant to seek God for everything, to get instructions from him concerning our lives not figure it out according to what the worldly system dictates.
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. - Psalm 24:6
Many are in wrong ministries because they took the easier way out; the more enriching way out. Many are training their children wrong because they have not bothered to find out from God what the purpose of God is for that child. Instead they are training them according to what looks good. Many have not sought God concerning their mate. Are you married to right person, did you seek to find out from God?
Kenneth Haggin worked as a Pastor for 12 years only to find out that he was the wrong ministry/. When he asked God, God said did you ask me, you just went into ministry by yourself; I sent you, you did not send yourself. Some are in the wrong businesses and some are working 9-5 when they should be doing business.
There are those fighting spiritual; battles and are just running from one crusade to another revival seeking miraculous intervention when they themselves have not yet sat at home to seek God as to the root of their problem.
It is time to seek the Lord. Let Him direct your pathway.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. - Psalm 32:8 (NIV)
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:13
You have a guarantee in the Word of God that when you seek him you will find him. Try it. Take time out to find the truth and get answers from God. Quote this scripture below when you pray (You need the word of God in your mouth when you pray at all times). Do not stop asking or seeking until you get an answer. You will be tested to see whether you are serious; so you may not get an answer the first day. Continue and the Lord will answer you. Trust God. The door will be opened unto you. Amen.
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
-  Matthew 7:7-8
